Me Nix regularly acts as counsel to individuals and corporations at all stages of criminal, or other government investigations. She also has experience coordinating private investigations into other forms of wrongdoing, for internal purposes, or with the view of filing criminal charges with law enforcement. 

In the course of her practice, Me Nix has represented clients charged with drug offences, murder, sexual assault, robbery, assault, fraud, defamation, and other crimes against the person. Me Nix’s practice also focuses on appellate law, as she acts as counsel on several appeal matters every year in both the Superior Court of Quebec, as well as the Quebec Court of Appeal. 

Me Nix is a member of both the Quebec Bar, and the Ontario Law Society, and actively takes on cases across Quebec and in the Eastern Ontario region. 

In addition to her criminal defence practice, Me Nix also represents professionals throughout Canada in conduct matters before boards and tribunals. Her professional conduct practice is based on her role as a Member Representative with the RCMP, where she acts as counsel for members facing Code of Conduct allegations, related to alleged misconduct in the workplace.  

Me Nix graduated with a Bachelor in Criminology from York University in Toronto. She then obtained her Juris Doctor degree from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, where her studies focused heavily on criminal law, and where she worked in federal penitentiaries in the Kingston region.
