Me Jean-Paul Perron, L.L.L., has been practicing in criminal, statutory and disciplinary law since 1977.

Since his admission to the Quebec Bar, he has defended both individuals and corporations charged with offences against the person, driving under the influence, economic offences, and abuse of trust. Me Perron has developed a diverse skillset working in several domains, including matters under the Competition Act, the Income Tax Acts, the Food and Drugs Act, and various electoral laws. He has also represented professionals before numerous public inquiry commissions and disciplinary tribunals, including the Tribunal administrative du Québec.

As a writer and teacher at the École du Barreau since 1984, he has contributed to the legal training of many lawyers in Quebec. His dedication to protecting his clients’ interests has earned him a stellar reputation among his peers.

Me Perron is involved with the Montreal Defence Lawyers Association (AADM) and the Quebec Defence Lawyers Association (AQAAD), organizing several conferences and contributing to continuing legal education for lawyers across the province of Quebec.

Me Perron has served for several years as a member of the Board of the Montreal Bar, and as President of the Committee on the Administration of Justice. He also served on the General Council of the Quebec Bar. He is currently a member of the Montreal Bar Committee on the Illegal Practice of Law.
