Anne-Geneviève Robert obtained her law degree from Université de Montréal and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2018. With a solid background in criminal law, Me Robert joined the Boro Frigon Gordon Jones team as a criminal lawyer and is dedicated to defending the rights of her clients in Criminal, Statutory and Youth Court.
Me Robert has represented individuals facing a wide variety of charges and has experience handling sexual offences (sexual assault, sexual contact, child pornography, etc.), crimes against the person (murder, attempted murder, assault, threats, domestic violence, etc.), white-collar crimes (theft, fraud, etc.), driving-related offences (driving while impaired by alcohol or drugs, dangerous driving, hit-and-run, etc.), drug-related crimes, and other offences under the Criminal Code. Having developed an expertise in defending such offences, Me Robert knows how stressful and worrying the criminal justice process can be for her clients, and how important it is that they place their trust in her. She therefore makes her clients her priority, ensuring a sound management of her cases and providing her clients with the care and professionalism they deserve.
A fervent advocate of justice and social causes, Me Robert sits on the Board of Directors of the NeuroTrauma Foundation and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Montreal Criminal Defence Lawyers’ Association. She is also involved in various committees of the Young Bar Association of Montreal, including the Research and Legislation Committee. Her involvement with this committee means that she is constantly sharing her knowledge with the legal community and members of the general public, and keeping up to date with recent developments in criminal law, a key element in ensuring that all her clients receive a full and fair defence.
